Christine Iaderosa, PhD.
Hello. Thanks for visiting my page. As a theatre artist I have always been interested in using theatre for change.
In my past position as the Coordinator for Theatre for Community Health (TCH) at Western Michigan University I wrote, directed and produced plays that addressed health behaviors on Western's campus. These health behaviors could be anything from alcohol use/abuse, sexual health, body image issues to dehumanization and diversity. I found that theatre is a powerful tool for sharing universal themes and helping students identify with others on campus. My students are trained peer educators who care about making a difference in the lives of their fellow students. On this site I have examples of my work with TCH as well as in other venues.
I have relocated back to New York, and seek a new life to use my skills. Check out my WMU HEROES video below.
